You’re no longer referring cases out. You’re handling them.
Your clients stay in your care—and you expand your practice into a new, high-value area of litigation.
This is what becomes possible with BLOCK ICE: Master Federal Habeas for Immigration Detention
You’ll learn directly from a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, with extensive litigation experience, who also sat on the bench as an Immigration Judge.
Now you get the insider knowledge playbook.
It’s built for attorneys ready to execute federal habeas litigation - whether you're bridging over from removal defense and bond hearings, or building a federal immigration practice from the ground up.
OUR EXTENDED LIVE VIRTUAL COHORT RUNS EACH MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY FOR TWO WEEKS:
AUGUST 10 - 21, 2026
@ 1pm Eastern/ 12pm Central/ 11am Mountain/ 10am Pacific
9 hours of live instruction - up from 6 - added in direct response to student feedback,
so you leave with deeper command of the material, not just more content.
This is an advanced, practical intensive built for two kinds of attorneys: 1) those who already handle removal defense and bond hearings and are ready to bridge into federal court, and 2) those who want to specialize specifically in federal habeas litigation from the start.
It is not a beginner-level course on immigration law generally — but you don't need years of EOIR experience to belong here. If habeas is the practice area you're building, this course gives you the complete litigation playbook to execute it, without requiring you to master removal defense first.
This course may be eligible for CLE credit with your state Bar Association. There are six live sessions of 90 minutes each (9 hours total of general instruction) — expanded from our inaugural cohort's 60-minute format based on direct attorney feedback, giving you more time for discussion, application, and Q&A.
This course represents an expanded curriculum with an extensive deep dive into the concepts of Federal Habeas to ensure you understand it from Day 1. The cost of the course is often covered by retaining just one high-value habeas case that you would otherwise have referred out, allowing you to increase both your firm’s capability and its revenue.
Most courses teach you what the law is; we teach you how to litigate. In each 90 minute module we dive deep into the concepts and provide practical tips from an instructor with unique "insider" experience as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Immigration Judge, and DHS/OPLA attorney.
You should be a licensed attorney This cohort is built for two groups: 1) immigration attorneys ready to bridge into federal court, 2) and attorneys who want to build an immigration habeas litigation practice from the ground up. Because enrollment is strictly limited to 15 attorneys, the training is tailored in real time to the caseloads and goals of who's actually in the room.
While the sessions are live and interactive on Zoom, recordings will be made available after the course to ensure you can review the complex litigation strategies at your own pace.
Both cost you revenue, control and growth.
Your clients need attorneys who can act—quickly and competently.
You deserve to be that attorney.
