Who This Training Is For
When the Master Calendar Hearing begins, you speak with clarity and confidence. You're not fumbling or apologizing. The government attorney? Just another professional — not some intimidating adversary with secret knowledge you lack.
Because now you have that knowledge too.
Your client looks at you with trust, knowing they have an attorney who can truly advocate for them.
This is what's possible.. with the Removal Defense Fundamentals Lunch and Learn series.
This is insider knowledge taught by someone who has sat on both sides of the bench — Tamaira Rivera, former Immigration Judge and ICE Attorney with 30 years of legal experience. This is battlefield intelligence from someone who prosecuted thousands of cases as an ICE attorney, and has shared her insider experience to help removal defense attorneys win cases they thought were impossible.
Now she's showing you the playbook.
THIS LIVE LUNCH AND LEARN SERIES RUNS JANUARY 23 - FEBRUARY 27, 2026

Additionally, Tamaira proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Foundational/practical skills — designed for attorneys new to removal proceedings, not a law lecture.
This course may be eligible for CLE credit with your state Bar Association. There are four sessions of 60 minutes of GENERAL instructions each.
Consider this: How much is one client worth? How many clients have you turned away because you didn't feel confident handling removal proceedings? This training pays for itself the moment you confidently accept your next removal case. Plus, you gain insider knowledge, practical skills, and mentorship that compound with every courtroom appearance for the rest of your career.
Most courses teach law. We teach lawyering. You'll learn from people who have sat in the judge's chair, argued from the government table, and defended from your position. This is practical courtroom training, not theory.
This course is specifically designed for licensed attorneys practicing or wanting to practice immigration law. While attorneys from other practice areas considering a transition to immigration law may find value, the content assumes basic familiarity with immigration law concepts and is most beneficial for those actively representing or planning to represent detained immigrants.
Your clients deserve an attorney who shows up with confidence and competence.
You deserve to feel that confidence.
